Sometimes I contribute to shows and companies by serving as their consultant—guiding them through moments of transition and helping them achieve critical producing goals, such as building an audience, fundraising, budgeting, season planning, and creating community partnerships with local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Continuing my obsession with theater inspired by Virginia Woolf’s writing, I’m consulting on the next iteration of this lovely, personal show, created and performed by Steven Epp and Vinora Epp. It had its New York premiere at The Tank, and it ran Minneapolis in March of 2025 and will come back to New York in November of 2025. More news about this show soon!
This was an exciting new play led by several of my talented emerging artist peers. I’m so glad finally to have had the opportunity to work with my friend Leigh Honigman who headed the show’s producing team, which included Pulitzer Finalist Will Arbery and Joey Nasta. My consulting with them related mainly to fundraising and outreach to potential corporate and nonprofit partners.
