by Luke Ciancarelli and Daniel Flesch

A man copes with trauma and disappointment in his past and present, with the help of his wacky yet wise friend Archibald.

An Awkward Bow

by Luke Ciancarelli and Daniel Flesch

In a small Berkshires town on the day of its Harvest Festival Formal, everyone has the same thing on their mind: love–how to lose it, win it, keep it, and above all, express it. Interweaving spoken poetry and prose, the characters’ interactions, insults, jokes, and confessions form the body and soul of this charming, original play.

The Soldier’s Tale

by Igor Stravinsky and C.F. Ramuz
(Co-Directed with Agata Sorotokin and Alice Yang)

Originally titled L’Histoire du soldat, this haunting piece follows a soldier who returns from war only to find that all those he knew and loved have moved on without him. In an attempt to find happiness, he makes a bargain with the Devil, who leads him on wild adventures. Drawing on the Faustian legend, this folklike narrative interweaves music, theatre, and dance to tell a tale of fortune, fate, and man’s search for meaning. (I also choreographed this show!)
